Dear Boof, you don't know me and we'll probably never meet but considering the responsibilities you take in your church, I really don't think all your boasting about beer drinking and getting drunk gives glory to God. I know it's cheap to post an anonymous comment but as I said you don't know me and we've never met but I saw you doing the Church News and I am really concerned about the seriousness of your faith. This is not meant to hurt you but to challenge you. Having said that I don't know you and you might have an amazing heart for God but I don't see it in your posts and on the err site.
interesting... the b00f™ is concerned that annonyfools comments may be somewhat misguided in that in no way is the b00f™ promoting or indeed condoning inebriation - one may enjoy beer without getting crissed as a picket!
(BTW the b00f™ is in no way asserting that said poster is a fool, only in that the b00f™ classes all posters who wish to not recognise their own identity as fools - a cheap dig for a cheap dig one might say!)
the b00f™ is also concerned re said comments re church news in that the b00f™ has not featured in such for the best part of 2 years (maybe because he may have been inebriated? haha - personal joke) or it could be because he just can't remember the lines and it takes way to long to shoot a 5 minute segment.
However, the b00f™ appreciates said comments in that one does need to indeed be careful in what one says and/or posts as it could be misinterpreted by others... anything the b00f™ says should be taken with more than a grain of salt!
Hi the boof, I thought your reaction to my foolish post was pretty good. It would be quite annoying to receive anonymous comments and yet it can have a few advantages. If we knew each other, I would talk to you personally and probably enjoy it but we don't and we won't as I don't live in Australia. I happened to be there at the big WE and I thought I saw you do the church news on the Sunday morning service. My concern is not just directed towards you but I'm not sure whom I'm supposed to talk to. I have now stayed in Perth a few times and have been quite shocked by the general lack of depth of Christians here. I know there are exceptions and I have met a few but on the whole I find Perth Christians very superficial and comfortable.
This is a bit frustrating. I don't even like what I'm doing right now. I think I'm just a bit sad for Christians here who don't seem to share at a deep level with their friends. Someone introduced me to elracho and I have found it extemely superficial and cliquish. I have been impressed and happy about what Riverview does for the community and the efforts they make to bring non Christians to church but I haven't seen much passion in most Christians I have met. I didn't want to attack you personally, I guess I needed to air my frustration and you happened to be there with all your beer comments...
just in case u dont know how to comment with ur name go here that way ur not anonymous.. and as for our 'shallow' christianity.. well i guess thats for God to deal with and for u to pray about!.. thanks for pointing the spec in our eyes.. (Matt 7v3..
the b00f™ is glad that said anonymous person/s appreciated the b00f™'s reply to his/her comments... it took the b00f™ 4 pints (personal joke - the b00f™ really should stop with the inebriation jokes as one might actually think it ish his shtate of being...), or rather hours to craft it!
and re the peoples blog - elrancho relaxo, the b00f™ must remnind all persons that it is a place where "deep is just a four letter word"... just like beer? (the b00f™ is trying hard with the beer references - may apologies to all!)
And as far as churches go, u are correct in the fact that ours isn't perfect... the b00f™ also admits that he is not perfect... bugger! But hey, who really cares about being perfect, if Jesus was perfect... hmmm... well ok that analogy just wont work! haha
interesting... u got me... ummm... right... ahhh.
So anyway how is the weather wherever it is u live?
the b00f™ is actually an Audio Engineer (although prefers not to call himself an "engineer" as he is also a mechanic and tradesmen don't like engineers)...

thanks for the challenge (no salt needed)!

It is a funny joke, not a representation of christians in general.
Maybe you shouldn't come to conclusions about people you hardly know.

bOOftm, since you are a mechanic, an audio engineer, and brew your own beer, you can call yourself a mechano-audio engibeer.
Nice blog, mate. When are you posting again?
Regards
